Terms and Conditions

All prices are inclusive of VAT and must be paid seven days prior to travelling or at the time of booking if less than seven days in advance – wedding bookings are settled two weeks prior to the day of travel.

Alternatively, credit or debit card payments can be made via ‘Sum Up’ and will be subject to a 2.5% surcharge. These will be shown as ‘Sum Up’ on your credit card statement.

Your booking may be subject to additional waiting time and car park charges.

Cornelia Cars will keep 50% of the booking cost in the event that a booking is cancelled within 48 hours of the booked time.

Cornelia Cars will keep 100% of the booking cost in event that a booking is cancelled within 24 hours of the booked time.

In the event that a wedding car booking is cancelled within three months of the booked date, Cornelia Cars reserve the right to retain the deposit paid.

In the event that a wedding booking is cancelled within two months of the booked date, Cornelia Cars reserve to right to charge the full hire amount to the customer.

In the event of a no-show, Cornelia Cars reserve the right to retain all monies paid.

We cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances out of our control.

We will always operate in accordance with road traffic laws, road conditions, traffic and the legal speed limits.

Any damage caused by the client to the interior and/or exterior of a vehicle will be charged accordingly – this includes any work needed to get the car back on the road.

Occasionally we subcontract some of our work due to high demand.

By supplying your email address you permit Cornelia Cars to contact you via email, in return we promise never to supply your email to any third party.

Any changes to the booking, including extra mileage, will be charged accordingly.

We reserve the right to change your vehicle if necessary.

Our drivers will always select the best route unless otherwise instructed at the time of the booking.

Our vehicle(s) and sub-contracted vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims.

Customer belongings are carried at their own risk and Cornelia Cars will not be held responsible or liable for any loss/damage to such property.

We reserve the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour is inappropriate or threatening.

We maintain a strict non-smoking policy in all vehicles.

Bookings on Bank Holidays, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day may carry an additional charge.

Nothing contained in these terms and conditions affect the client’s’ statutory rights.
